HUSKISAFARI  IN NATURE OF SALLA
You will have a chance to get to know the huskies that are going to pull your sleigh. You can also help the guide with the harnessing, if you wish. Each sleigh will be pulled by four to six dogs, depending on the weather conditions and the length of the trip. Midway, we will stop at a resting place where the husky sleighs are attached to trees with a rope in the back of the sleigh.
After the picnic, it is nice to continue our snowy ride.

REINDEER FEEDING TRIP
On our reindeer-feeding trip, you will see our reindeer close-up. Sitting in a big sleigh covered with reindeer hides, we will take a 1.5-kilometre (0.9-mile) ride from the main building to the reindeer corrals. Our route goes through an undulating pine-tree and spruce forest. The reindeer gather in the feeding place, as the guide calls them. You can touch and stroke them and feed them with lichen, dried birch twigs and fodder. The guide tells you how the reindeer are called, revealing interesting details of their character and lives.

Snowmobile safari to Naruska
The vast wilderness areas in Salla offer incredible opportunities to enjoy the nature in many different ways.
One of them is of course on the back of the snowmobile.
You get a chance to enjoy the thrill of driving on routes which are well taken care of and just by a small maneuver you can enjoy the soft snow next to the route. The safari will take you on the top of the Karhufell and Sorsafell from where you can get a good view on to the Russia side while the frontier zone goes along the east side of the Sorsafell.

All three safari - Snowmobiles, huskies & reindeers in Salla/ 6 days
This safaris offers many ways of action! During the safari you will drive with snowmobiles, take a ride with huskies and even with reindeers. We will also  head to the highest fell in Salla, to Sorsatunturi. It situates partly on the frontier zone so from the top opens up view even to Russia.
After admiring the top the safari continues to Tulppio. It was the first place in Finland where mechanised timber transport took place about 100 years ago. One of the two steam trains bought from America is still left in Tulppio.
