Come and join a traditional boat cruise along the lumberjack’s floating route. You will enjoy the beautiful scenery of the valleys of the Rivers Ounasjoki and Kemijoki. In a long wooden riverboat you travel through the peaceful nature, experience the summer at the Arctic Circle, and learn about reindeer herding while visiting the Reindeer Farm. At the farm you will enjoy a cup of coffee and participate in the ceremony of crossing the Arctic Circle.

After meeting your guide at Lapland Safaris Club house you will receive suitable clothing for the fishing trip.  During the 30 minutes drive you will leave the city life behind and get ready to the real Lappish experience. Upon arrival to the wilderness lake Salmijärvi, your guide will give you a short lesson for trolling and throwing the lure. While you are trying to catch Rainbow trout your guide will put up the open fire. Enjoy coffee and a snack by the open fire. After the relaxing moment by the fire it’s time to start heading back to Rovaniemi  city centre.

River rafting at river Raudanjoki

This 1,5 hrs river rafting is provided on River Raudanjoki, Rovaniemi. During the programme, we confront couple rapids on our way. We meet the shore after the most challenging rapid called, Vikaköngäs.
